Pay Band:€34,239 - €40,281
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Job Purpose: The Marketing Campaign Executive will be responsible for managing and delivering direct marketing campaigns with predominant focus on managing the telemarketing campaign programme. The primary objective of the role is to maximise income from individuals in Ireland by engaging, recruiting and retaining supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the telemarketing programme for Supporter Marketing by taking a strategic and donor centric approach to maximise income potential over the short, medium and long term, whilst delivering a great supporter experience.
Manage the development and implementation of telemarketing campaigns to include: briefing, planning, audience selection, script writing and optimisation, performance monitoring and post campaign analysis. Campaigns will target individuals with traditional fundraising and community based asks.
Manage the development and implementation of activities to support the telemarketing campaigns where appropriate to maximise efficiencies and effectiveness of the telemarketing programme, including emails, social, display, direct mail, etc.
Management of telemarketing programme budgets including monitoring of expenditure and targets.
Management of relationships with supporters where required (event participants, groups and volunteers).
Management of external suppliers (telemarketing agencies, direct marketing agencies, media buyers, digital agencies, data agencies, telemarketing agencies and printers).
Proactively participate in community events and challenges.
Review of telemarketing campaigns to provide insights and recommendations to improve campaigns performance.
Work with other members of the Supporter Marketing and Telemarketing Teams to develop innovative and successful telemarketing fundraising campaigns to contribute to the achievement of the fundraising targets and objectives.
Attend conferences, relevant events and training as opportunities arise.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential
• Third level qualification in marketing, business or related discipline
• At least two years’ experience in a marketing environment with experience in managing direct marketing campaigns from start to finish
• At least 12 months’ experience in a telemarketing environment or relationship management
• Experience working with data, writing data briefs, and targeting and segmenting audiences
• Strong project management skills
• Experience of managing budgets
• Experience of managing external suppliers
• Strong analytical skills
• Result oriented attitude
• Excellent telephone and face to face communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent written skills including experience of writing and/or commenting on fundraising copy
• Excellent organisation skills and experience of managing a varied workload
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
• Excellent problem solving attitude
Desirable:
• Previous experience working in a fundraising environment
• Previous experience of delivering digital campaigns
• Experience working with groups or volunteers
• Knowledge of and interest in development issues and a commitment to Concern’s work with people in the developing world.
