GOAL is seeking to recruit a Global Training and Development Manager.
Reporting to the People and Organisational Development Director, the Global Training and Development Manager will be for developing a consistent and business-oriented development and training strategy and coordinate all training initiatives at GOAL.
Main Responsibilities
Strategy
- Design and implement globally a training and development strategy and framework for each category of employees at GOAL to support both GOAL’s business and employee’s development.
- Develop and implement a global 70/20/10 development tool for GOAL
Training
- Identify and validate key training recurrent needs for each function, category of employee and country
- Design programmes (e.g. individual, team, skill-based and management training) to ensure that people are on boarded, developed and engaged throughout the life-cycle, including develop and optimise one-line training by identifying and promoting the right platform and content for GOAL
- Actively Evaluate and assess the efficiency and quality of learning solutions and act on outcomes and feedback to ensure interventions keep pace with and anticipate the business need.
- Build strong working relationships with relevant business leaders associated with programmes of work and subject matter experts.
- Manage and implement Head Office training plan and budget especially monitor and advice
- Manage relationship with global external training providers: Mindgym, IMI….
- Identify and manage suitable global external vendors, as appropriate, to develop and/ or facilitate learning interventions.
Development
- Manages and promote functional technical competency models and GOAL behavioural competency model that facilitates growth and development, including GOAL values ad behaviours
- Build and advise on Talent and Succession management process to have the right people ready for future roles and to maximise Talent in the organisation
- Develop mentoring and coaching interventions
- Act as Subject Matter Expert to HR Business Partners and HR Managers in country
- Lead on training on our Performance Management process to ensure it is understood, implemented and engages our people
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 years’ experience in relevant discipline in Training, Learning & Development, Education, Management, Psychology, or HR.
- Training development and implementation at an international level
- Ability to work as part of a remote global team supporting business and local countries
- Demonstrates excellent communication, training, facilitation and mentoring skills.
- Prior experience conducting presentations or facilitating training in English
- Demonstrates knowledge of current learning technologies and principles.
- HR / Learning and Development consultative skills
- Project Management skills
