GOAL established an Ebola Treatment Centre (ETC) at Port Loko, Sierra Leone, with support from DFID. GOAL managed the ETC in coordination with DFID and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare until the decommissioning in December 2015.
GOAL is committed to learning lessons and addressing gaps in our systems to strengthen these for future such surge responses. This evaluation aims to document the achievements, gaps and lessons learned across the organisation on the conclusion of our Ebola Response in in December 2015.
GOAL is seeking a consultant to identify and document the key organisational challenges and lessons learned from GOAL’s Ebola Response June 2014 – December 2015 and to make recommendations to strengthen GOAL systems for subsequent such Responses.
