Job Purpose:
Working as part of the recruitment team, the Francophone Recruiter will be responsible for the 360 hiring of staff for positions in our French speaking countries of operation. Working as a Francophone Recruiter will give you the opportunity to contribute as a key member of the recruitment team ensuring that we are sourcing and selecting the most suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the 360 hiring of staff for francophone regions. This includes; advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, reference checking, offering and negotiating.
Liaising with hiring managers regarding staff requisitions and developing optimal recruitment plans for each vacancy
Developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
Ensure timely and accurate updates of recruitment systems and reporting tools
Ensuring the organisation is meeting its accountability commitments within the recruitment process
Liaise with hiring managers to promote internal mobility for performing internal HQ, national and international staff
Support the recruitment team, as necessary, with the recruitment of positions in head office or Anglophone regions
Support the Recruitment Team Lead, as necessary, with any recruitment related projects or initiatives
Accept, advance and pursue any new objectives or responsibilities that may be assigned by HR Management;
Ensure that the organisation’s values and policy commitments, including accountability, equality and safeguarding, are reflected in assigned responsibilities and contribute to a positive internal and external working relationship within the HR Overseas Team and with stakeholders/customers.
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
University degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant discipline.
A minimum of 2 years recruitment experience with proven success hiring at multiple levels
Fluency in English & French
Excellent interpersonal & communications skills
Excellent organisation and planning skills with the ability to work on own initiative
A strong team player
Interest and empathy in the work of Concern
Desirable:
- Experience of working in one of Concern’s countries of operation
- CIPD membership
- Previous experience of working in the INGO sector
